The Workshop on Communication Design and Efficacy for Public and Consumer Engagement is an output of around fifteen years of research supported by leading funding agencies, including the Gates Foundation. It brings together distinguished leaders from top academia and industry to share cutting-edge insights and their experiential learnings on communication design, strategic communication for public engagement, and innovative frameworks and solutions to drive consumer impact. Designed to bridge theory and practice, the workshop offers a unique platform for meaningful dialogue and knowledge dissemination.

In today’s increasingly complex communication landscape, organizations face the challenge of capturing attention, fostering genuine engagement, and driving sustained impact. This workshop addresses these challenges with a focus on design strategies for effective communication, integrated marketing planning and communication technologies (IMPACT), communication funnel and efficacy frameworks, and the measurement of communication effectiveness and engagement. Participants will gain valuable insights from experts across sectors, who will share critical learnings—from shaping communication and Marketing goals, ideas, and causes to navigating on-ground challenges in delivering impactful communication.
